Problem with dual micro coils

The whole thing to me sounds like you just havn't sussed your build yet.

Omega clone ! Which one, where are the air holes with respect to the posts. Some omega clones have the air hole at a tight angle to the posts.

At .4 ohm it will fire way hot so that's part of your issue. The cotton shouldn't fill the deck completely & putting cotton under the coil will just block air around the coil. The cotton, when threaded through the coil should fill the coil but not be tight, you should be able to pull it left & right easily.
The short end nearest to the air flow should be cut pretty short, no longer than enough to touch the deck & tuck between the negative post & the walll. The long end can be say, twice the length as from the coil to the opposite wall & then double it back under itself in a u-turn. With space around each coil then, just get the height of the coils right for a better flavour.

Not the omega but that's what i'm trying to describe. Some room for air in there & be sure to align the air holes with the coils.

Try dropping the VG % try 50/50 or add sterilised water to the vg, at 10% and try it. I think its to much VG stopping the wicking.

Don't do that, too many chemicals in tap water. But you can catch the steam from kettle water (distilled), I've put a jug over the top of the kettles pour hole and caught the drips a couple of times.

I don't think that's the problem though as cloud chasers use high VG juice at crazy heats with no wicking problems.

Yeah my problem was too much cotton stuffed in the coil causing it to cool the coil way too much.
