I rebuild a coil for my aerotank. Made a nice 1.9ohm vertical microcoil with cotten using this tutorial http://imgur.com/a/UpBmR happy days up to now

Mr Whistler SIR:- Many thanks!!! Kanthal/Wick from Stealthvape was on the Mat when I came Home just now & I've now wound Me 1st ever coil!! The MVP read it at 1.4 Ohm & I'm vaping with it as I type! Took Me longer to lay the fiddly bits of wick over the coil as Flavour Wick than to do the actual coil! Will try & get more done now!

Yeah it is. I've not tried rayon but I use cotton in everything now. Not touched silica for months

Thank You for this post I have just made my first (2nd 3rd 4th and 5th) coil! Although I did use the res no res wires from stealthvape which I think makes things a bit easier.

I really want to have a go at this but my only concern is how to measure the ohms and check for shorts?? I don't have a battery that will measure resistance. Am I better off buying a Vamo style battery or buying a multimeter? I am not overly flush so the most cost effective solution would be best for me.
