Quick Look @ Ultrasonic Cleaners

For the speed steeping of the RY4 i did start with cool water and it does heat up.
As a test just stuck me finger under the hot tap and that is hot enough to not have me keeping my finger under it. that was registering as 51c.

Even after an hour+ of nuking the temp is not as hot as that but i still give it a rest to cool down and give the machine a break.

Reports are that the heat is primarily useful for getting the liquid "thinner" to aid the molecular movement within the e-liquid.

For cleaning glasses etc then hot water does work better than cold when using detergents. Seem to remember the destructions saying 40-60 but not boiling water. That way probably lies the mysterious blue smoke!

Not tried the Lidl Gin but the Aldi one got a silver at this years major international wine and spirits challenge.... under a £10 and beat many of the £20+ posh'uns

@Whistler if ya want me to nuke a test sample for you just PM me :)

If you are worried about over heating then there are some reasonable digi-probes that you can set to let you know when a temp has been reached. I use one when making tablet and it works a treat!

No need mate. Got a pro one with 15 min timer that the missus got for her clock n watch repair. I just stole it to clean all my vape gear and steep. With my mixes I usually put them on for two hours in total at first. Let the 15 min timer run out, wait five mins while gently shaking the mix. I repeat that for a couple of hours and it already makes an improvement. I find it gets even better with a few days normal steeping after that as well

I have been using a mini UC but find with my collection I need something larger...
Seen one here, will this be suitable, can anyone give a recommendation?

That's a very popular one. A lot of vapers have that. Easy to use, nice digital timer.

Have a look at this vid from Todd, he doesn't do the steeping but it shows the cleaner.

Seen video from OP :D
Do you use one like this and would you recommend getting one Whistler?

My one is not like that no, but all works the same. I definitely recommend it. Even If you only use it to clean atties etc. A little bit of miltons in the water gets them nice and clean. Then just a rinse with water and your done.

Nevermind all the other things you can clean, jewelry and glasses to name but two.
