I've got this already cheers. Although its a slightly different one that uses MOSFETs for the switching. Thanks though.

I'm going to put a voltmeter and fuse in mine. Where do you think would be the best place to put the fuse?

The fuses can go either +ve or-ve it doesn't matter, just put one side directly to battery terminal and wiring comes off the other side of the fuse.

The Raptor diagram RG posted up shows incorporating a reverse battery protection with the use of the P FET, this part can be omitted if you didn't want it. Also the diagram calls for a 20A master switch, which are difficult to find and big, a more practical solution is to add a small switch in line with the fire switch as this line carries no significant load and any small on off switch will do.
Essentially the 10A wiring is the same as the 20A as far as I can see.

Thanks for the info guys. Been scanning to entire interweb looking for a decent 200ohm pot with a small knob. Finally settled on a vishay one. Not the nicest knob in the world but better than the other ones I've seen.

These pots seem to be the popular choice for the raptor modders, 93PR200LF BI Technologies / TT Electronics | Mouser, if you can ever get hold of them.
