Icouldn't really tell you, but i hope it does 'cos i've been looking at exactly the same thing myself!

Fingers crossed eh? Have you built one before? This'll be my first.

Just posted pics of my first wooden mod,but i like the idea of inboard charging /passthrough so hopefully this can be put in a future mod!

@Seedy
You need to make sure that the 5v supply adapter is rated at least at a 1000ma output for that board, most ecig are 500ma.

You would be better getting a board with an output of 500ma for charging.

Take the average C rating of a lithium battery - calculation for safe charging is mah/C = charge rate
So you need to know the battery information too :)

Thanks for the help. I'll see what I can find out. :-)

Another 2 newbie question.....
1: If I bought one of these:
http://www.fasttech.com/products/1585501
Would it be suitable for charging an 18650 in a box mod?

2: Would it simply be a case of connecting the + and - to the battery?

Many thanks

This is the battery I want to use. http://vapourhut.com/efest_18650_high_drain_30a
It doesn't say anything about a c rating on the unit.

From Efest own website http://www.efestpower.com/Product/3798601810.html
'quick charge current1600mA (1C)'

So mah/C 1600/1 = 1600 means you can charge this battery using the board you linked too :D :D happy days :D

Just need the USB plug adaptor to be 1000ma compatible ;)

Cool. Thanks a lot. Am I right to think that is ok to charge at a lower ma?

I don't know how the adaptor or board would handle a lower voltage going into it, some of the resistors may not even work if they are not getting the correct current.
It is just like when a wrongly powered ego gets charged with the wrong charger, it can either not charge or over charge and become unstable.

I recommend always using the correct current required, don't take shortcuts with batteries and electricity ;)
