Recipe mega thread

Sooo.... What does everyone taste in Pow Wow Sauce? On the inhale? On the exhale? Fresh? Well steeped? First thing when you wake up? Last thing at night? After a drink of ice cold water? Throughout the wattage range, does it change? If so, what are the differences?

Sorry ZT, I'm just playing.. I wouldn't have a prayer of getting it anywhere near even if I did like to shit on my neighbours doorstep.

On the inhale it's a hint of copyright but on the exhale a stunning waft of lawsuit :) :)

Am slightly sad that there aren't any clone recipes of my stuff posted here, would be interesting to see how close people had got.

I know for certain that 2 of the big name juices on the list are way off, while I obviously don't know exact recipes I've been told for a couple of liquids how many ingredients are in there, and in one case the % of the main ingredient.

As far as makers requesting that certain clone recipes are pulled, it's way more likely to do with the fact that the clone recipe is way wrong and some enterprising DIYer will take said recipe knock up a batch of it and sell it as the real thing on some FB group or similar and then damage the reputation of the legit stuff.

Once you get well practiced at juice making it's actually really easy to copy a n other juice, I could probably turn out a reasonable clone of nearly any juice inside of a week or so if I had the right flavours to hand. It's much harder to come up with original stuff.

If I had £1 for everytime I've made up a great liquid only for steeping to utterly ruin it I could buy about 1/3rd of an iphone, or something.

There would probably be no point, your juices are incredibly good value considering the quality, especially with free postage and discount code. I'd rather just buy the real deal then mess about getting something that doesn't quite live up to them.

Quick stupid question

Some of the ingredients are TFA but some are just FA is this the same thing or is it something different like Flavourarts?

Which ones?

Would they not have to fake labels and the correct containers too? seems a lot of work when they could just sell a tast-a-like without all the messing around and deception?

This is kind of the point of this thread, its a set of building blocks, over and over again you see combinations of flavours cropping up in the same ratios, these fundamentals will help someone new to mixing when trying to come up with their own juice......I doubt many people will just take these clones and only make them for ever, rather they will take them and adapt them to preference and experiment, hopefully bringing new juices into the world, and being more inclined to share them.

I also think e-juice mixing has a undeserved esoteric shroud around it putting people off even trying....anyone with with a little practice and reading up can knock out excellent juices, and the more people engaging, the more innovation we will see.

I have taken it to mean TFA in most cases.

If a recipe says TFA I would say that is The Flavour Apprentice (Formally The Perfumers Apprentice or TPA) and FA would be FlavourArt. So TPA and TFA amount to the same company, whereas FA is a different brand completely. Means having to be careful when looking at the recipes.

Yes, I guess if the recipe with FA in it also has TPA or TFA it will be FlavourArt.

atomeyes if there is a certain recipe, let me know what one, and I will see if I can find out more, and confirm FlavourArt or The Flavour Apprentice

As much as I've enjoyed making up some recipes, I do believe the point of this thread was to rip off other juices.
