I haven't checked recently but a mini provari will set you back 160 +
Alternatives depend on what you want. VV, tube shape, box shape, etc
Tube? I'd say the new chrome lavatube 4.0
Box? I'd say the Vv gripper
Both around the 40 quid mark if you look plus batteries and charger if you don't own those.

If you want to try something like that then try a lavatube. Most of the feature but for alot less. The older ones don't last forever but for the price you can replace it several times over. They are a great intro to variable voltage. If you like it then go for a provari. Not everyone wants or needs vv, and that's all the fun of trying stuff till you find out what's right for you

It's not that I'm really after the vv, its more the look and style of the whole thing, with the big see through tank, mouth piece and large battery.........but I don't know what I'm looking at or where to start! :confusion:

Never used a VV device, but perhaps one day ;-) until then I am very happy with the VGo2's I have.

I sympathise. It all seems so complicated at the start. I would say go one step up from where you feel 'safe'. You will cope with it and you won't then end up with a collection of stuff you wish you'd been brave enough not to buy. The good vendors will always be happy to talk to you - a phone call can work wonders :tennis:
