red astaire high vg

Hi, so I had my diy kit through today from alchemists cupboard, have made a few different liquids but the only one that tastes right is green eyed monster from chefs vapour which Is perfect in my opinion. Not faulting the kit or anything as I had one taste great. All three I mixed at 20% flavouring except for green eyed monster which was around 25% all 70 vg 30 pg, but my my red astaire is not as good as I had expected. Is this because with high vg it needs more steeping time? Or do I need more flavour in there? obviously you can't taste it and let me know on here but for it to be weaker tasting is this because its in need of steeping or more flavouring?
also my nicotine is vg based but seems to smell like popcorn? Anyone had issues like that?

The Red Astaire may need to steep some more, I mixed mine at 70%VG and 20% flavour and it's fine...

I've never had red astaire, is 20% pretty close to the original? I tagged a bottle when I ordered 100ml of custard today wanting to give it a go, what's the steep times like at 50/50?

They recommend 15% on their website. I did 20 because of the higher vg.

Couldn't tell you myself about 50/50 but I've seen a lot of people say its good to go straight away. But I haven't found that to be the case which is why I asked here lol.

15% is recommended by T- juice, but I think that's at 80/20 pg/vg which is the stock.
Iv'e got 60/40vg/pg at 15% on just over a 3 week steep, due to vape it prob thurs.

It was pretty good after about 5 days, but got better at about 7 days...

Lol..don't think it needs that long..I just had other juice to vape so left it that long for research purposes.
Got another batch steeping about a week....I love it so Im adopting the boy scout motto "be prepared".
