I am not new to vaping. However, I also don't know many people who vape, so I don't have anyone to ask. I have been using the Aspire Clieto tanks. Not sure which version. Anyway, I have been buying the coils from eBay and I try to buy the ones that have the genuine seal on them. However, out of every 5 I buy, I find 2 of them go very quickly. The other 3 may last a bit longer, but not that much longer. So, all of this adds up to being quite expensive.

I am willing to consider changing tanks and coils. Can anyone recommend a good quality one that has a reputation for lasting a bit longer.

Btw, I am using I am using Generals Juices - B-Bomb (70VG/30PG)from Prime Vapes.

Thank you.

Are the coils when you check them coming up as genuine?

I'm a mtl vaper so not the best to recommend alternatives but Aspire have a new sub-ohm tank out, the Atlantis GT, which might be of interest, though as it's so new there won't be much info yet on coil longevity.

Thanks. It's got those silver seals that you see on it. I haven't done any checks beyond that.

Genuine coils usually have a scratch off patch which reveals a number which you can check on the manufacturers site.

I only use stock coil tanks for testing juices but I`ve found that the manufacturers rating is usually way above what I`ve found to be ideal, which will reduce the useful life of the coil. With the voopoo coils that fit my atty I set the wattage to about 2/3 of that recommended and adjust to taste. Most of my vaping is done on an atty which is built from scratch i.e. my own coil and wick, it is much more cost effective and imo more versatile.

From what I`ve read most stock coil tanks are pretty evenly matched as far as performance is concerned so if I was buying one I would go for one with cheap but reliable coils. There is a vast choice so the world is your mollusc.

I can recommend the Freemax fireluke Solo, its a great tank, I have 3 of them that I use 3 different juices in, one dessert, one strawberry custard and another for just plain fruit like apple. And the coils last a good amount of time, the coils are around 10-12 quid for 5 if you look around. Also you can get a 5ml bubble glass for a couple of quid for them which helps ;)

You could’ take a look at the Innokin Zlide tank with Z coils they give good flavour and last I’ve had now problems with them. I only used EBay once for coils never again, get them from a reliable source plenty of vendors on here. TECC and Vape Club are a great start.

Aspire, Innokin are generally very good, there is always a risk of a duff coil or batch, plus other variables to consider with stock coils.
Even with non stockies the time between rewicking varies....tis just the way the wee cookie crumbles.

Hi, had that tank, clieto, and the coils from them were exactly the same several years ago. Were genuine, they are just utter crap hit n miss rubbish that you buy a packet just for 2 good ones if your lucky. Man I wasted money on that joke of a tank and coils. :12:
Agree with an above recommendation on the Fireluke solo. I used the single mesh and it was really good. My main is the Geekvape Zeus, top airflow, zero leaks and consistency in the coil quality. Id give the Fireluke though a longer coil life.

That's why I bought the rba section for the Cleito almost straight away [emoji16]

Been Vaping since 2012 always had problems with coils. I now think its the juices that are at fault.
Now I Vape a Innokin Zlide with 1.6 coils. Juice now is Liberty from https://www.electronic-cigarettes-ecig.co.uk/
which is Sirvapealot.
No longer have problems with Dry hits or coils only lasting a day or two.
Not all of Sirvapealots juices are as good as the Liberty.
