Hi all. I am looking for a replacement for my OBS Skye vape. Always vape MTL and love this one but you cannot get the coils any more. After having a look around there’s so many different options but none of them stick out.

my needs are simple. Don’t need sub-ohm. Just an easy leak proof vape where I can easily get new coils. All in one is also a requirement.

any ideas most welcomed and many thanks. ben.

Hi Ben,

The BP mods lightsaber caught my eye recently, looks really nice to my eyes.

Also Innokin are doing some goods stuff, the coolfire z80 and kroma 80 kits are pretty good. They do a couple of decent pods too if that's your bag.

The vapefly nicolas 2 tank is very good too, they do mesh coils and it will go with any mod, ditto for the freemax fireluke 22. The nautilus is always a good option and the coils are easy peasy pie to get hold of.

All depends really on what your wants / priorities are. Internal / external battery. Small and portable / big and long lasting. That kind of stuff.

Cheers

innokin do some nice MTL kits with the Zlide tank Z coils are easily available.

For coil availability of simple kits I'd always look to Innokin or Aspire as both manufacturers seem to carry on supplying coils for thei kits for years. They may not be the very latest but coils are easy to find.

I think your biggest stumbling block is going to be that you are looking for an AIO system. There have been so many churned out over the last 3 years that were updated/replaced after 3 months that meant they were old news and past their best before date less than 6 months after release so they simply didn't bother making coils as they just wanted you to buy another.

If you are resolved to stick with simple AIOs with stock coils I would advise you to go for a similar recently released model from a larger manufacturer easily found in the UK - like Aspire, Geekvape, Innokin, Vaporesso, Voopoo (I should add Smok but won't lol) so you should be good for buying coils for at least a year. After that the kit will be past its best anyway so probably due for replacement.

I don't use AIOs or stock coils anymore so I'm out of date on what is worth considering, but hopefully others here will help.

The Nautilus Prime X is a good aio although it uses an external18650 battery. Nautilus coils are readily available it gives a really good vape.
