Hello people. My question is, how do you know when to replace a coil in a build . . . ? Are there signs to look out for or is it a experience kind of deal?

Ask the same question when you have been building for a few weeks and the answer will be - when you get bored! A decent coil on a decent atty, just lasts and lasts (and lasts)
Yes there are signs when a coil is past it's best. They just 'feel' like they are struggling and starved, and your vape, whilst still vapeable, will start to be a tad dryish.

Cheers pal! So, just build/replace when I feel like doing a build.

Sure, unless the quality of your vape has deteriorated enough to spoil your enjoyment.

I use cotton in my drippers & during the life of the coil i replace the wick when i feel it's getting a bit flat or too dark. The coils, if made with a little care will keep going & if you get a good vape from them, well..
