Hello all, when I first started using evods, I bought a box of 1.8 ohm heads and 2.2 to try out. The 2.2 ohm heads have the smaller chimley on them. I have been saving the old chimley from the 1.8's. I presume it's ok if I just swap them over? Thanks.

They should fit, but do check the diameter as there could be a small difference.

careful when you screw the base back in if there is a difference in the size of the base of the head you could potentially damage the evod.

For the record, the longer chimneys are Protank heads, and the shorter ones are eVod ones :)

However, they are compatible with each other, so dont panic about changing them :)

Hi Abyss, just took a look at my most recent box of heads/atties/chimleys - these are proper Kangertech .

The box states 'Coil Unit for Protank & EVOD' (aka universal coils), and they have the long 'chimley' tubes; I've never had a problem with either length though in both my Evods & protanks though and have even replaced a long chimney for a shorty on an atomiser after I mangled one (don't ask! :D )

Yup the chimneys are compatible buddy don't worry bout it

I have a friend who was born a couple of miles away. He also calls chimneys chimleys. I had never seen anyone write it til now. I just thought he was weird when he first said it. But it reminded me of another local term that I never got to the bottom of. Fat rops. I have only ever heard people from around stockport use it. Anyone know what rops are?
