yeah i bought some of that pre wound wick when i bought my Big Dripper it works ok there is a couple of lengths of 1mm wrapped

Quick update :

If you use the VW mode rather than the VV mode on this .. its not so fierce, you can turn it down real low(obviously you can turn it up to be as fierce as you like) but this will handle my 1.6 and 1.8 ohm heads nicely without being too warm.

Seems to be just the VV mode thats a bit fierce! cool

I can do it tho .. did it in fact .. slightly harder than doing 4 .. but is doable

i had a go at six turns Zt, came out at 2.0 ohms. the first one was tricky but after that it wasn't too bad, i think i'll still have a go with thinner wire when i get a chance but so far so good :tickled_pink:

There was something on the old UKV - where the guy used dripper bottles to dispense his wire and wick.

So what's the highest resistance (per metre) wire you can get? I have just received my A7 from Rui and it's pretty good - a nice vape. I bought it for its alleged bottom feeder capabilities but so far:

Phideas - won't connect because the 510 connector is recessed
Boge Revolution - won't fit because of the incredibly high and tight drip cup (no surprises)
Old Goat - surprisingly wouldn't connect

However it holds about 6 drops of juice confortably in its bottom and is a lovely vape. The connector posts have through holes with screw-downs so looks a lot easier than the faffing with the Phoenix/Volcano.
