Rocket Atomiser. Anyone got one/tried one?

Hi, anyone tried a Rocket ? I think they are a Kayfun clone? Seem pretty cheap from a Uk vendor, I was thinking of buying one as I am wanting to rebuild my own coils and need something cheap to start with.

may be ok but i just think they look really fake with the polished chrome

Mawsley we are talking about different rockets. i had a rocket, the high end genesis atomizer from rocket science mods. not the dodgy chinese silica thing from fast tech.

i sold my rocket atty anyway, but i still have a pocket rocket if thats any use?

I have been using a blue Rocket for about 4 months. Bought it at Fasttech for just over $12 US. It is a kayfun clone. I love it. Still use it every day. Because of the aluminum, it does tend to leak a bit now and then but the vaping on it is first rate. I have it coiled to 2ohm using cotton. The vaper from it almost feels like I am taking the foam from a latte into my mouth. It is cheap but it is definitely worth getting. Because of it, I ordered a Kayfun Lite from Fasttech in January. Waited until 3/11 to get it and the base malfunctioned so I am still waiting to see if all kayfuns are as good.

The rocket is what it is, a kayfun clone who's quality is reflected by price. No doubt, now that I have posted this, someone will appear to say just how brilliant they are. As a 'cheap' kayfun clone, the Rocket is as good enough place as anywhere, to test the waters and get a feel for a rebuildable tank and get to grips with your coil building and wicking skills, but I would not expect it to become your 'go to device'. Machining is not great, and they have a tendency to leak from the top cap o-ring. Get past this, and they vape as well, and as consistent, as any of the other clones. It's horses for courses, but, in my opinion only, paying a few quid more for one of the better quality clones, hcigar/svoemesto etc is the best option,if your budget does not stretch to the genuine article.
