Yea I know took the KFL off to fill it up Again (lovin this combo) and I actually watched half the screw bend up & the o ring pop off...!
Put the KFL back on minus the o ring & half of the screw and all seems well still????

Are you using a kick? or straight off the battery?

and what Ohms have you got he coil wired too ?

No kick or owt wi a 1.6 coil on double 3mm wick. Love it

It didn't melt, I think the o ring should have been removed when using the recessed 510 connector? Think it's down to stress.....?

You're right - when the recessed top is used the o ring should be removed and if its not you can sometimes over tighten it but it is unusual for the screw to snap unless it was a little too loose and the pressure of the atty when bedding down snapped the head. Also when changing batteries you're supposed to loosen the atty first or again it can get over tightened. It's a fairly common screw size though so if you've not got one in your toolbox / spares box then screw fix should be able to sort you out. It's pretty easy to dismantle the head and then you can unscrew the remainder with pliers etc'. Hope that helps, Jase.

The kayfun was only tightened very lightly but the guy I got it off had been using a KFL on it too with the o ring still in so the damage was probably already done when I got it (this morning) Got it at a good price tho so can't moan
