Yeah there's no airholes on an iclear mate,and they are a tight draw,kangers are loose,aspire about in the middle,u tried leaving beauty ring on with ur pt2? Tends to make draw but tighter-or u can always block off 1 hole with bit of tape or spot of superglue

Airholes open? What airholes?

I've got 2 indented ridges at the bottom, running from near the threading to the outside. Are they what you are talking about. I can't see anything else on them, or am I missing something completely obvious. Which is known to happen quite often

The MVP V2 beauty ring has 2 airholes which need to be open (not covered) otherwise the tank will just be way too tight a draw.

Just trying to find an explanation for why we had the same mod, and same tank yet one was airy and one was tight.

Probably a case of preference and how we individually define a tight / airy draw.

Ah yes, I see what you mean now. The beauty ring air holes are not covered.

I think your right. It's all down to our own preference at the end of the day.

Did you have the airholes open? My iclear 30 isnt tight at all

They are noticeably tighter than the 30S.
The air holes in the base are easily twice the size on the S as they are for the original 30 and the S has a looser draw as a result.
Im considering enlarging the air holes on my 30's to loosen the draw a little as they are a touch tight for my liking.
