is it ok to post second hand mods with the royal mail? I wondered what the rules were.

yep totally fine. if you do ever get asked what you're posting (assuming includes batteries), just say computer game or some other random thing

I've posted mods (well, one...) and a few tanks - just told the woman behind the counter what was in there...

She does vape though, so understands what I'm telling her ;)

I just say metal box if it's a mod made from metal or metal tube for a tube mod don't post battery's not worth the hassle

Batteries aren't an issue with the sizes used for vaping.

The only real restriction (and this is location/route dependant anyway) is that a battery can only be posted if accompanied by something that uses it - hence why battery suppliers sometimes include a "free" torch or charger - it's not generosity, it's to comply with royal mail regulations.

Battery by itself - might cause an issue if it's heading to certain places by certain routes.

Battery with or in a mod - allowed to be posted all over.

Doesn't seem to work that way at my post office when I've said there was a battery in there so had to go to another post office. even had the same thing when I tried to post some zippo lighters told the woman what they were and refused them even after telling her they hadn't been used so basically brand new untouched no you can't post them so had to use a courier company

Never count on an educated post womble. I've had countless issue's.
It's car parts, always car parts.

Yep, I started out honest and was refused at multiple post offices.
Car parts I tell ya.

I always say "electronic cigarette parts, no batteries, no liquid, no glass".

Never had a problem..

Trying to post e-liquid is the real struggle.
