I'm using a DID Genesis Atomiser on a Provari 2.5. The best vape I've had is when I wound a coil that was reading 1.3ohms a couple of weeks ago. I'm using stainless steel mesh for wick and .20 kanthal wire for coil. I can't seem to get a setup to run at 1.3 ohms. It won't seem to go below 1.5ohms. Any help or tips would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

You need to get a mech Boomtastic. No restrictions.

I think he's asking HOW to get 1.3ohms.
How many wraps are you doing at the moment? I'm guessing 4. So, try 3 wraps, and see what that gets. :)

I've got a mini-DID clone sat here on the go now, and I find that using .1 x .3 ribbon kanthal I get a MUCH better vape then using normal kanthal, 4 wraps usualy gets me to around 1.3-1.5 ohms.

1.3 does sound a bit... Low for 0.2 kanthal.
I usually use 0.25 for that (Think it's 4/5 wraps of that... not 100% Certain)...

SO, you may have had a small short somewhere reducing the ohms a little. BUT, Try 3, see how that comes out!

all down to thickness of wire, number of wrpas and how close the wraps are. .20 can be an arse to get down i prefer .32 3-4 wraps. less wraps higher ohms but less coverage unless you use ribbon wire .
i would suggest try a micro coil but tbh .20 is far to thin for microcoils as its to springy and you just cant get the coils close enough or they overlap.
try this one. get to identical lengths of .20. twist them together to form a rope, then do 3 wraps and see how that comes out. should be around 1.2 and will give you fare better coverage of the wick
