Running a wire at 1.3ohms. How do I do it?

The problem with a DID is the wick hole is quite large. So 3 wraps tends to be a longer length of wire than most other Gennies and so raises the resistance. He could make his wick narrower but then he'd moan like f*ck that it leaks when he lays it down. Even worse, his Mum would moan like double f*ck when she keeps finding puddles of juice everywhere. He could use larger wire or even ribbon Kanthal. He could just turn his Provari up a notch or two, that is after all one of the main features of a VV mod. He could try using a Tesla, that's got VW as well as VV, the best of both worlds.

Or he could even wait until Christmas day to see what Santa brings him.

Either way, I'm just his Dad who's been using Gennies for the past 18 months and can now wind a perfect coil almost with my eyes shut, what do I know.

I'd put him over my knee and smack his bum but he's 6 foot and 18 stone...

Ok. So I tried for over 2 hours trying to get a descent coil last night with no luck. Good old dad comes along and does it first time. A great coil reading 1.3 ohms. I really am a newbie and need to start listening to wise one. Lol. :-D

I wouldn't worry to much about what the ohms are. Instead make sure your ohm to voltage ratio is correct. At 1.3 ohms you need to be careful not to use to much voltage. You can find charts for these ratios online. Just type vaping voltage chart into google. I recommend a higher ohm maybe 2 - 3 ohms and crank up the voltage. You'll see on the chart that there is a lot more room to play with at these ohm levels. Different juices will have different sweet spots but in general at 2ohms 3.8 - 4.2volts will be spot on! Hope this helps.
