I have 5 in school and there not going back yet I'll assess the situation for a September return and not before

Same that mate. Our two won't be going back until the missus and I are convinced that they will be safe.

My kids grown up, worked in a school 20 years and that doesnt make me an expert. ( site manager = posh caretaker ).
I suspect when the dust settles each school will be making their own mind up as each school is different. If a school is open its because they have the space needed for separation in the classroom, hall, corridors & outside Any that doesnt have the space probably wont open. Come September the school wont have grown any. Tough choice now & later.

I was wondering are the people that are refusing to send their kids back to school
the same people who are flocking down the beaches ?
Personally i think it is still too soon.

The trouble with schools is if one kid gets nits the whole school gets them.
If one gets a cold the whole school gets one, the parents, and grand parents get it too.
See where I'm going with this?
I agree it's too early and not worth it for the sake of a few weeks.

I never understood the rush to get the kids back in, it made sense to wait until the new academic year.
