What's new

scottish app

I downloaded it earlier, it looks like they're saying it does what the one the uk government blew about 12 million on was supposed to do. It's apparently just an add on to what's already in place here. Needs quite a high percentage of people to download it to be effective too apparently.
it also lacks the privacy issues of the westminster one.

i would expect the uptake will be quite good. like @Chris K was saying i’m his thread i think most people in scotland are following the guidance and taking it seriously.

reluctantly i would add that the scottish government seem a lot more credible and less corrupt than the westminster layabouts.

I had expected a good uptake, within an hour of it being announced it had been shared throughout my various messenger groups by people of varying ages.

Makea you wonder why they couldn't have done an easy fix for that?

people in scotland seem to have more trust in the government, even snp sceptics like me. the fact they aren’t farming out the app, and the track and trace system, to their private sectors mates to shovel more money upstairs etc. keeping it all in house with the nhs is the way forward.

How are you feeling about the potential return of powers from the Scottish and Welsh governments to Westminster Post brexit?

She's certainly worked hard to increase her approval rating over the course of the last 6 months.
