Hello guys,
I've been vaping for around 15 months now and I'm having a bit of a problem.
I'm vaping 70 n 80vg but I keep getting a scratchy tickle feeling in my throat. Only thing I can think it could be is a very very slight dry hit. Only thing that makes me think otherwise is the fact that I've tried and always got mega constant dry hits using my smok tfv8 baby and only way I'd stop dry hits was to always drip a little directly onto the coil. Where as right now, I'll take a puff get the scratchy tickle feeling but am able to take many more puffs and it's fine. Oh I'm on 3mg nic and know for a fact it's not throat hit. It kinda feels like when in summer you accidentally get a tiny fly stuck in throat. Any ideas? Oh coil in question is aspire Atlantis evo 0.5 rated 35-40w. My juice is also generally super smooth.

I think if it was a dry hit you would know. Is it a different liquid from what you usually use? Bad nic used to mix it? Or could it be that the vg isn’t agreeing with you?

I've had massive dry hit but just thought this may be a minor dry hit. Yes it's happening with 4
new juice. I'm fine with high vg. I wasn't aware you could get bad nic shots. I'm using same coil in 2 tanks. I think I'll put some of the juice in other good tank and see if it happens. Oh damn, do you think it could be my nic doing this?

Actually, the juice I was just vaping was a 10ml bottle from store with nic already in juice. Could the nic also be bad in that?

Could be that the coil is on the verge of a dry hit (drop the wattage) or just badly gunked up (change the coil). If you're on an rta try cleaning the coil and thinning your wick out a bit to improve the juice flow.

It could be. Does it taste alright? Have you used it before? It could even be a flavour concentrate in it that doesn’t agree with you. Or any of the things @red5 suggested.

I thought could be about to dry hit. I actually dripped bout 2 drops directly down middle of coil and it seemed fine. But I literally only did that twice. I don't think it's the coil because these coils last me ages even with 80vg and it's a brand new coil. Prob used bout 8ml of juice.

Could be a slight allergic reaction, I know that some “blue” (berries of a sort) flavours can irritate my throat and left with a itchy throat, also dragons blood can do it too me also.
