Setup for flavour

Hi all .
I bought a smok xpriv kit
The mod is nice does upto 225w
It came with the tfv12
I upgraded the tank to bubble glass and the coil to the x6 sextyplet one
It gives very muted flavour ..
I'm using the doozy seriously slushy eliquid 70/30
And it tastes of nothing nomatter what settings ..
I have also a smok rpm80 with sub ohm tank and that makes better flavour ..
I purchased another liquid to be sure .
Power punch Red apple ..
In my rpm it taste not too bad a little low on flavour .
But my tf12 destroys the flavour and taste nothing like it should ..
I am running at around 80 seems to be where best flavour is..
I got all new coils ..
Is my tank just not made for flavour?
Is there a tank better for flavour I don't care too much about clouds just want nice flavour..
Don't like the pod and salt system
Any advice would be appreciated..

personal opinion, ditch smok as their QC on coils went out the window around 3-4 years ago.

imo tank of the year for cloud and flavour this year is vaporesso i tank.

This is just the equipment I was left with when my Mrs decided not to use them
..
I do prefer sub ohm I not keen on the pod mod thing .
I do have a setup for the rpm to also take pod and salt but its not for me ..
Wasn't trying to contradict myself .
What I mean to say is a like clouds but I'd prefer a tank that was better on flavour than an outstanding cloud tank ..
I'm not sure what's going on I used to vape many years ago with the drip stuff and build my own coils etc ..
But now I just want an easy to use setup .
The rpm is fine for me out and about but at home I want something better..

So the itank is better than my tfv12 on flavour ??
I was looking on amazon and can't find replacement coils for the itsnk ..
What coil is recommended with the itank?

buyng on amazon or ebay is always a risk of ending up with clone or fake coils. not saying they are ALL fake but ive ended up with some from amazon many years ago so wont buy from them when it comes to vape stuff.

think you will find almost everyone of these on post 5 will sell the GTi coils for the i tank.

clouds and flavour are part of the same. if you want more flavour you need higher watts so will always get much more cloud.
as your sweet spot is 80watts you should be getting massive clouds. no matter which coil you use.
im happy at 50w on each of them and the lower the ohm (number) the bigger the cloud.

you could just get the itank and use it on your smok mod.

I also went off smok years ago I've heard the occasional good thing since, but not enough to redeem the shocking safety issues on the alien mod

If you're looking for a reliable tank and good flavor I would recommend tanks that use pnp coils. they're readily available and tons to choose from since they can use gtx and now tmd coils too.

The pioneer s is very well built and the flavor production IMHO is going to be the best you'll find with stock coils.

Ok I'm gonna take a stab at that one seemed a good deal with the extra bubble glass , I ordered an eliquid to so I qualify for fast postage ..
I shall let u know how I go on ..
Gonna put it on my xpriv mod .
Should be ok it has plenty functionality and enough power ..
I do have an old vapersso mod in the cupboard but it can only do 50w so I don't think that will work .
If I get on with this tank I may purchase the mod to accompany it ..

Or is my 70/30 doozey stuff gonna be fine

any 70/30 will work fine in the i tank. mine has mainly had custards in it.

best not to push the vaporesso 50w mod to its limit. if it still works could use that for higher ohm coils at around 30-35w max. battery will never last long though.

Hi there thanks for help so far ..
My stuff arrived today and I can't seem to install the bubble glass ..
I don't want to use too much force , does it screw or pull ?
I took one glass off and there's like a plastic glass underneath it
Can't wprk out how to remove the rest

Put a light coating of e-liquid on the seals at the top and bottom of the tank, gently twist the glass onto the top section and screw the bottom half into place. The glass/seals aren't threaded, its just easier if you turn the glass as you insert it instead of pushing it into place. (The plastic glass underneath is probably there to reduce the capacity to 2ml to make it TPD compliant).
