Just went to order another at 3F as was showing one black in stock again but by the time i got to checkout it had sold out.
Was that you mr rew?

I think 5Avape were outsourced to manufacture the "original" and then went on to churn out the clones.
I suspect this happens a lot as the clones seem to come out so quick and it isnt the first time originals have been sold as clones.
It's probably part of the deal in the first place.

I'd be interested if anyone actually forks out for an original for them to pop it open just to see if it actually has a dna60 in it.
But then again as someone said above why not just buy the "clone" and stick a dna board in it.
If i was good enough at soldering i would but the buttons are off board so it's a bit beyond my capabilities.

Nope I've opened it and it's definitely not the dna60 board in there.
There is a clone dna60 board and its used in quite a few things like Ambitions mods stuff.
The board in the Penon is the same as the Stratum Ballance.

The Penon displays the same board makers name on start up.

it may be exactly the same device, but the ones sold as authentics have the only difference of dna board? an extra 200 odd quid for it seems a big hefty.
