I really like the look of the Teros and that colour changing paint brings me back to my youth, my toy cars did the same thing. Never realised the vim had an 18650 hidden in there. Makes a lot of sense. Tbh I don’t really need any more vape gear! I just like trying out new things.

I would have sent the VIM to you to try but I ripped it apart after I'd finished testing it. ..... I was curious what was inside.

The Teros is cool.... very tiny, much smaller that I was expecting, not a bad vape either, I wish the draw was a little tighter but I do like it.

Do you know if the Ultem top cap does anything? ... or is it just a 'look' thing?

Not sure. Don't think I have that. probably just looks.

if you take the ultem bit out you'll see what I mean ... that's what those groves are for around the bottom, they channel the air from the air inlet around the sides to hit the coil.... and you'll see the cut out for the screw on the deck, so you just twist it to the right until it stops there, then you'll know it's in the right place and you know the coil won't be touching the ultem, because if you have the airhole round the back you won't have any idea where the coil is..... sort of thing....

I just tried this out. Like you say, it doesn’t make any difference.

Haha I take it you it’s all sealed in there nice and tight? I usually wait for the teardowns on YouTube. Love seeing the inside of my gear too. Still haven’t seen anyone tear down the basal yet!

yeah, it's quite a clever design to be honest.... the one thing that struck me was how cheap and plasticy it all was when it's in bits, once you take the heavy 18650 out it feels much less solid and weighty and I'm not really a fan of how the tank connects into the mod, I can see that wearing over time. ... but you know, it is a cheap device so I can't complain, it is what it is and a perfect starter kit really.
