Review Sigelie 30w mini

got mine yesterday and to date agree with everything Jimi said, Taifuns fit flush to the base and on the sides, easy battery change with a bit of practice and everything feels quality ie fire button, 510 connector, fires the same all the way down to very near empty 18650....very impressed, Mvp 20w is now backup.....just ordered another for the good lady

Does anyone have a picture of it next to the cloupor mini (all sides preferably) :p

Not doing all sides but this thing is NOT mini! It feels cheap and nasty compared to the Cloupor mini. It's almost the same size as a MVP2 but without the solid feel. The PWM setting is at best dubious. IF the Cloupor hadn't had the recent bad press this thing would, very quickly, cease to exist in the vaping world.

Got mine yesterday. Impressed. Replacing my cloupor mini

Thought the same, but it just can't. Sigelei says do not use in pass through mode when charging via usb. IF Cloupor had said same maybe there would be no issues? (They ALL get hot when doing this)

I may be wrong, but from what I've read there have been some that have melted when not being used or charged.

Pics here: Cloupor Mini May have Serious Charging Safety Issues | The Grumpy Vaper

The owner claimed it was unattended, not on charge and not being fired. Would seem using it as a pass through may not be the issue.

Agreed, doesn't seem to be the USB charge port. Also agree with Maxcat that its not exactly "mini" but I think it looks ok, maybe not as good as the Cloupor mini but its not gonna blow or burn my hand off so that's a nice bonus (as far as we know).

The 'owner' may also work for the competition! But hey ho! mass hysteria rules the interwebs!

Very much agreed. Difficult to know what's fact and fiction!

Blow or burn hand off? They may set fire to the occasional piano but not convinced of this explosion stuff. Using usb pass-through on 18650 makes things bloody hot! (maybe enough to cause other, later issues)?

Quick update. Scrub con point 4 from my review. Tank now sits dead flush now my paranoia has subsided!

The cloupor has a few issues that would deter me from purchase. In sleep mode there is a 0.8 second delay until the atty fires. Also, the magnetic door does not sit flush in the frame and you can wiggle it around. Again this may not bother some people but it would me. Not liking the reports of burnouts. Surely companies are experienced enough and run enough pre production tests to avoid this by now!? .....or are they just rushing products out to cash in on present demand? Hmm. ..

Regardless of what caused the clouper issues ...it does seem that the bad ones went [emoji95] in the first few days of use.....
Mines working flawlessly....and is easily the nicest/smallest of the recent mini's I've played with....the smok was close though.
