Silica/cotton/wool

Having just got the kayfun and strictly being mesh guy i need a bit of guidence in what to use....

Mainly custards/desert juices

Got my kanthal after chatting with @phantomdiablo so thats sorted, just need cotton or whatever now got some organic cotton from tesco earlier and kayfun is getting a clean...

So is cotton the future? Or silica? Or summit else?

The pre-made wick and coil was silica and tasted like burnt poo

My all day vape is custard in a russian. I pretty much just use Microcoils (find them easier to make than regular coils too) and cotton. Takes a bit of experimentation to get the knack of using the right amount (less is more) but you get great flavour in my experience.

If you are coming over to the vape meet on Saturday I will be bringing some cotton yarn with me - you can try some of that (or SS rope if you like too). If my braided cotton rope is here by then I will have a bit of that for folks to try too.

I have gone back to using microcoils with silica
i just found that I was constantly having to changing cotton wool
wicks after every tank and being the lazy basket that I am found
it too much of a PITA

For me, cotton wool is just not durable enough for me
