Silly question: can I clean a coil when I clean my tank to change juice flavour?

Today I made the mistake of adding Rum and Raisin flavoured juice to my tank just after finishing a tank of Cherry Fizzle, not a nice combination at all.

I cleaned the tank out but I only wiped the remaining juice off of the outside of the coil and now the horrible combination won't go away. Is it okay to rinse the coil with water or will that bugger it? My presumption is that it will damage the coil or the cotton, or both but I thought I'd ask.

I'm going through quite a few flavours at the moment, trying to find my favourite.
Would I be better off swapping coils each time I swap juice and then going back to the relevant coil when I want to use the juice I used with it?

Yes, as you've found out you'd be better off changing coils. In fact, the best thing would be to have several tanks going, or even better use an RDA.

Water shouldn't cause much of an issue, although some coils may not like it. The water should mix with juice and evaporate off. Give it a go, but don't blame me :18: The coil isn't much good as it is :)

you can dry burn the coil (without the cotton)......simply remove the cotton then pulse/fire the coil, rinsing in water from a pouring tap 3/4 times and pulsing each time till the coil glows and is dry.... then rewick

I kinda assumed he's using stock coils ;)

You might get away with wrapping the coil in cling film for a few weeks until you use again for the same or similar flavour, which is better than chucking out a decent coil

They are stock Freemax coils for the FL3 tank.
An RDA is one of the re-buildable things isn't it? I'll have a look at some videos on how to do that.
Are there any highly recommended RDAs for flavour?
Would I need to buy a new Mod too or will my Freemax work okay? I'm not too bothered by vapour volume, flavour is my priority; I've got a nice sounding selection of juices arriving tomorrow (amongst which is a rhubarb and custard doughnut flavour that I'm childishly excited to try) as well as a Lost vape Thelema with Quest chip as recommended but I can always order more stuff if I need it.
Any recommendations will be gratefully received.

Ah come on mate, I need to lay the blame somewhere when my better half finds out how much I've spent on vaping stuff :S;)

I did look at something called a squonk but I thought I'd better learn to crawl before I try to sprint
