By far the most factual and unbiased piece I've seen on the TV.
I was smiling when Mr Hajek mentioned the press's thirst for bad news stories relating to vaping.

And at the same time the mirror did another article about a spare cell venting in someone's pocket. Another headline of 'ecig explodes' and not 'fucking idiot keeps spare batteries in his pocket and wonders why they short'.

Nice find and good points made in the news at last, its not surprising about all the negative news going around about vaping when you sit back and think about it. Just look at the UK government, it will be losing £9.7 billion in excise duty plus £2.6 billion in VAT a year in tobacco sales alone.
So combine all the world wide governments and the revenue that will be lost, and we wonder why there is so much bad press about vaping ?

I don't like the establishment as much as the next person but they were the ones to publish a report saying that vaping is 95% safer than smoking. Has this happened anywhere else in the world? This was big news remember.

You have to factor in the billions it will save the NHS in the long term verses the billions they gain from taxing tobacco, it's a no brainer.

It's not just the press, it's also people like Mark Drakeford (Welsh Minister for Health) and Sally Davies (Chief Medical Officer for England), there are plenty of others as well. Given the way those two have carried on they should be sacked, health big wigs wandering around the place with the aim of forcing people to go back to or carry on smoking.

I think that is exactly why the hatred: they even admit it's 95% safer than smoking, and then enact laws trying to make it as difficult as possible to Vape. At best it's stupidity, and more likely it's corruption. Result being they don't give a shit about the health of the population, nor the money it will save the NHS.

That is why there is much hatred towards the government within this forum.
