Ha I didn't film it myself. Picked it up via FB and then YouTube a short while agoBy far the most factual and unbiased piece I've seen on the TV.
I was smiling when Mr Hajek mentioned the press's thirst for bad news stories relating to vaping.
Thanks for sharing this @Mark (and is that one of those new fangled curved tellies you got there?)
Nice find and good points made in the news at last, its not surprising about all the negative news going around about vaping when you sit back and think about it. Just look at the UK government, it will be losing £9.7 billion in excise duty plus £2.6 billion in VAT a year in tobacco sales alone.
So combine all the world wide governments and the revenue that will be lost, and we wonder why there is so much bad press about vaping ?
You have to factor in the billions it will save the NHS in the long term verses the billions they gain from taxing tobacco, it's a no brainer.
What I don't understand is why the UK press go out of the way to say the opposite in light of the published findings above.
Within the vaping 'scene' I see a lot of hate towards the government and I don't really understand it.
I don't like the establishment as much as the next person but they were the ones to publish a report saying that vaping is 95% safer than smoking. Has this happened anywhere else in the world? This was big news remember.
