You just hit the nail on the head, there are many great things in the world that have been banned or shelved though corruption within governments, not just in the UK but world wide.
If you think your politicians run your country think again, corruption and the back handers that go with it from large corporations run the world we live in.
Think about it, how much is the tobacco industry worth. In 2015 it was worth approximately £500 billion and the overall market value continues to grow, do you really think they want to start losing all this money when they can simply buy off politicians and doctors.
