I know most of you are using the rebuildable coil anyway ... but I'm not liking the 0.6ohm coil as much as the 1.4, it's a bit floody at lower power (flick flick) and verging on dry hits at higher power.

It is lasting longer, but I thought the 1.4 was a really nice vape and was pretty perfect for me on the first and second power levels.

I do like the fact you can have multiple rba's coiled and wicked ready.
Rather than thinking "ball's, this needs rewicking" you can just swap it it out in seconds the same as a stock coil.
Tis the easy life.

Exactly that! Got two Pasitos and 5 RBA decks now. Should suffice for 2 weeks holidays. (Might take a spare stock coil or two, not to take chances.)

Nice to see peoples RBA builds and what's working for them!
I'd tried 28 AWG SS316L in 2.5mm and 2mm diameters,(~0.7-0.8 ohm ish) but it didn't feel like the wicking was keeping up despite being careful not to overwick. That was only on 2 power dots /13W. I might have to try @lucifah 's tip to trim the wick to the deck, not the bottom of the channels.

I'm using 28 AWG Kanthal, 2.5mm ID, 5 wraps. Juice is 70% VG and I think it was Cotton Gods wick. Just as a "works for me" reference. I can chain vape that bugger and the wicking never seems to struggle, whereas before with filled channels it often did. Not dry-hit kind of struggle, but dryer than it should be, if that makes sense.

I have absolutely no idea how anybody even functions with talons like that, let alone building fiddly little coils. Mind-boggling Mind you, that looks like quite a big coil for that tiny deck. I like the way Jai Haze built his actually, he twisted the wire at right angles before fitting it, made it look like a piece of piss
