Yeah both SMM and the DJ (can never remember that bloody acronym he uses ) were being a bit snowflaky about it. Haven't cut any wires with the screws yet, but then I never tighten them like they'd have to withstand the impact of a nuclear missile. Maybe they got an early batch or pre-production version. Or I'm just lucky for a change

yeah, it could be that they flattened or smoothed the screws after the reviews, I'm almost 100% certain they get sent pre-full production items.

... oh one more thing while I'm here, is there really a protective film on the sides because I can't lift a corner on mine? ... maybe they changed that too...

Nope, not on mine either. Or do all the fingerprints count as film?

You won't have so many prints if you remove the protective film.
