Another update
Well put the groove on charge after it ran out at 13:30 and apart from taking it off charge between 17:30 and 17:45 (left work and got home) i have had it on charge until 20:15 so quick calculation is 6 1/2 hours now there was no visual indication on the battery being full but when I pressed the - button it revealed an un flashing battery symbol although it then registered 4.2v it quickly dropped to 4.1v so think it will take a bit more, but getting fed up waiting so its enough for me.
Another issue I have had today is it would not recognise my carto tank set up although I had been running a fair amount over the weekend, but it does work on the ego adapter fitted so no real issue as I intend only to use with evods anyway but suspect the centre pin on the cart has been pushed slightly up thus severing the connection.
So we start again to see how much it will give me with a full battery I reckon it will be around the 60 hour mark so the clock started at 20:15 ............

Ok where are we .... Right nearly 28 hours and still going battery reading 3.7 volt, I seem to think that is not as good as last time but I guess its about half way through its battery life cycle so maybe its not that bad just used to its humungous battery life!
The evods seem to work really well via the adapter and to be fair when I go on holiday that will be my preferred juice receptacle and will probably take 3 or 4 for different juices.
Decided though after the mammoth 6.5 hour charge I am either going to have a part charge and vape in the evening or take a little cigalike or ego with me to fill the void

Ok where are we right around the 51 1/2 hour mark and battery reading 3.6v but to be fair there has been two sleeps in that period, will have to work out during the day hours tomorrow against during the day hours.
In fact I workout calculating from 07:00 to 00:00 its been around the 28 hour mark which is still impressive looking at the battery life

Well this is my final update as the Groove has now been retired until my holiday which is the reason I bought it.
So at 16:15 it finally gave me the low volt sign which was annoying as I was at work and had no other device!! But leaving every so often managed to get a few more draws out of it but for the record and the fact it makes it easier to work out I will say it ended at 16:15, ZT can confirm this as it packed up whilst I was talking to him!
So it lasted 68 hours from taking off charge and based on my previous time criteria gave me a vaping time frame excluding sleep of 47 hours (i think my calculations are about right which overall I think is fantastic.
So should be able to take away on a full charge and only have to charge twice whilst away for the 7 days.
So to sum up will list my negatives and positives:
Negatives
Cant vape whilst device on charge
Long charge time (6.5 hours from empty to full)
Small well on top so needed an adapter to fit an evod
Tacky looking VW logo and detailing on rear of body
No adjustment on top battery connection and carts stopped working after a couple of days although with adapter worked fine.
It looks like a cheap Chinese radio
Integrated battery means at some point in a year or so when the battery dies the mod dies
Positives
Battery life is huge and can go 2 - 3 days
It feels great in the hand and very comfy
Compact unit easy to take away in hand luggage on holiday
Screen looks lovely
Ohm resistance checker
VW and VV
Reasonable price, considering you get the mod and charger and battery all in one
Conclusion
Overall I loved it and it will remain with me as my VW device, it will be perfect to take away with me and was extremely comfortable in my pocket, I purchased it for a specific reason and I believe it will suit my needs and reasons to buy perfectly, could it be better yes and would love to see the inners of this device in a wooden mod with a removable phone style battery with bigger juice well and the ability to vape whilst charging if they do this I am buying a few more!! For now I am quite content but will give do you a revisit when I have been away and used on holiday.

Thanks Mark it looks like it covers most of the bases I wanted, its not perfect but for the money its going to be good enough
