Smok TF-RTA G2

Hi All,
So got my Smok TF-RTA G2 for Christmas fired up today.
Using the pre installed Claptons which I have read are rated at 0.4 Ohms, tested on a Geek Vape 521 Tab mini are coming out at 0.204 Ohms.
Would I be right in saying this is because it is a double coil deck so the actual resistance figure is half of what the individual coils are rated at ??
Used cotton bacon and wicked both coils as per instructions, just fired up at 49W on a smok alien mod with Manabush Chiri Sun - getting some popping from the tank ??
What would the range in watts for these stock coils be ?

you are correct, dual coils half the resistance. Never used the coils that came with it so can't help on best wattage for them, I would start at about 30 watts and work up untill your happy with the vape, popping can be caused by all sorts, to much power, to little power, water in RTA if you cleaned it, not familiar with manbush either but sure somebody will be along soon who is.
I use NiFe52 claptons in my TF-RDA and love the flavour and vape its a great tank, a few experiments to find the setup you like and I'm sure you will love it.

Thanks for the tips Andy rewicked and change of juice and now no popping noises vaping at 50watts very tasty and good clouds.
