I'm not sure if this has been posted up before, but I've just come across it now, -Smoking Still Kills.

It is a report published by ASH but funded by Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation. http://www.ash.org.uk/files/documents/ASH_962.pdf

Some me really positive stuff in here about vaping. See page 36

Nice to see that ASH are still generally in the pro camp but I still harbour suspicions that they might change tack to only supporting licensed products once the regs come into force (bearing in mind that they get a good wedge of funding from Big Pharma).

For now though, the positivity is welcome and adds a degree of erm... authenticity to the pro 'camp'. ;)

Just scanned it ... they are so NEARLY there aren't they?

"... smokers may continue to smoke because they do not fully appreciate the benefit of
switching to alternative nicotine products. This would be a disaster for them and for public health."

They're just not quite onside with the concept that vaping is part of the solution rather than part of the problem.
They're prepared to recommend vaping in prisons to render them smoke-free but they cannot extend that idea further?
