When I first started 2 years ago, it was quite often, but now? No one asks me cause its obvious Im not smoking!

I've been asked for a light to which I replied that I don't smoke. Then you get this look as if they're saying well it looks like you are.

I've only had that from people who know me, because for the past 16 years I've always had a lighter in each pocket... Plus one spare.

I got to admit that I do miss my lighter. It's a mad house around here when I'm trying to get the BBQ grill going. People get down right hostile when you tell them that it's going to be a while before the steaks are done.

I was in my hair dressers the other day and a bloke popped his head in the door and asked for a light.
I just felt a nice sense of "pride" (I can't think of a better word) when I said I don't smoke.
Pride maybe smugness...

Asked a couple of times, but only on the golf course and i keep a couple of lighters in my golf bag in case anyone needs a light.
