Hi I have been vaping for 5 days now and i have not smoked a roll up for 3 days :). I have noticed my lips are sore and i have a small blister on my upper lip. Is this common? or could it be a reaction to the e-liquid.

Out of interest .. are you using a plastic or steel drip tip? I find steel drip tips make my lips sore and peel on the inside.

Sounds like a PG sensitivity, which in most cases will go away. Make sure you are drinking enough water, and I mean lots of it. The PG can be very drying, which will cause dry lips, dry skin, and some other niggly issues. If it hasnt gone within a week or so, try getting your e-liquids with a higher VG content (but keep hydrated!)

I had exactly the same. A combination of getting juice on my lips and the fact that vaping seems to make the lips very dry at first. I found myself being very thirsty as well. I would say drink plenty water use a bit of lip balm (I borrowed the wife's) and it should pass. It lasted about 2 weeks or so for me. No problems now though.

I suffered from this fo a day or so, then only vaped Menthol for a few days after that, and also, I very lightly brushed my lips with a soft toothbrush then applied moisturiser several times during the day and it cleared up.

I had this for a day or two and wasnt when I first started either was a couple of weeks in, and has never come back

Also, drip tips make a big difference,

Delrin feels like sandpaper but ceramic feels like the drip tip is coated in KY.

Vape Escape sell ceramic drip tips for £2.99

Aaaaahhhhh,

Damn you guys are useful lol. I wondered why I'd been feeling a little dehydrated and drinking like a Horse as of late lol, that explains it. I'm not getting sore lips though.

Again, one for you long term experienced vapers......Do you need to be careful with these e-liquids if you are taking certain medications please?

Hi and welcome Lucifermoose, let's hope your issue begins to decrease quickly :-) .

Thank you all for your great advice, i am using a plastic tip that came with my kit, i will change it for a ceramic one, and get some PG liquids. I will also be drink more and use some lip balm. Thank,s again all of you.
