Speeding up steeping?

no expert here but colour change is down to nic. degrading due to UV

I'm not sure this is entirely true. I have some clear liquids which stay clear at 18mg and 12mg. Is it possible it only changes colour with nic degrading with certain flavours?

Maybe so reaction with Nic and flavouring perhaps def increased by uv though

I have a couple of juices here that start golden yellow and after about a week they're almost dark brown / black and that's with no sunshine.
Kept in a dark cupboard and the colour change takes place.

IMO it's more to do with the flavour concentrate than anything else.

what..like trousers and a jumper..aye
;-)
it's only 12mg ,i'm forever getting covered in it.
it's only really the nic base that concerns me..

When using the microwave with plastic bottles it's best to give it 1 second bursts, check, shake and repeat until warm not hot.

Edit: With cap off :)

Although I wouldn't do this unless I was desperate really.. It's best to try plan ahead and give it time instead.

Ooh! Not good! Was the bottle capped (so pressure built up due to expansion)?

top was off...maybe a weak point in the bottle or a hot spot in the micro ?

Think the micro is about 10yrs old which could be contributing factor ;-)

I'm confused...

I mix a Butterscotch, this takes 3 days to change colour to an orangy shade and is only vapable after at least 3 days.
I mix a vanilla custard, this requires no more than 24 hours to become lush.
I made up some T-Juices Afro-Dizziac,this was way too harsh straight from the bowl but I needed a juice right THEN so tried Lordys frother trick and it made it mellow enough to use straight-away(though improved further over time)

Unfortunately, the brush I used in my Dremel-clone as a frother started to rust(Chinese stainless steel)so I've ceased frothing up my mixes but the majority on POTV seem to be saying that frothing doesn't work when I found it did.

The majority of POTV members that mix vanilla custards say that the juice requires at least a week, whereas mine is lush after just 24 hours and nothing else but a shake.
