Speeding up steeping?

Chegs the frothy method does work.. It's all the air bubbles you're adding which shaking does. My home made custard frothed is lush on day 3.. It was nice on day one but still sickly, 3 days frothing once a day has mellowed it out a lot.

voila...fits in a 10ml bottle

tbh..i wouldnt think thats such a big deal...you'll either subconsciously vape more to make up for it..or maybe mix at 13 instead of 12 in future..

what..like trousers and a jumper..aye
;-)
it's only 12mg ,i'm forever getting covered in it.
it's only really the nic base that concerns me..

Yeah lol but it's not usually feckin hot ! :)

Sent from (who cares) using Planet of the Vapes

went to give the microwave another shot today...(as everyone else seems to get away with it)
7 secs on half power..as i lift the bottle out it bursts and sprays all over the place....arrrggghh [emoji35]
Never again
I'm not sure you should have done it with the top or the dropper on - there's a reason you need to punch holes in the plastic with a fork on your chicken tikka masala ;)

I'm honestly more concerned with plastic bottles melting and/or plastic leeching into the liquid. Sadly I don't have any glass bottles!

I haven't read the whole thread, but this is just my opinion....

I watched Lordys video a few months back and decided to try using a milk frother.
I mixed up 2 x 50ml batches of my Vanilla Custard recipe and used the frother on one of them.
The frothed mix did darken in colour a lot faster, but when i tried it after 7 days it was still not fully steeped.
I repeated this every week and it was by week 3 that i found that it was at that nice creamy stage.
I tried the naturally steeped one next and it tasted exactly the same.

Imo, time is the best steeper (regarding custards anyways) and its just easier to make a batch every 2 weeks, that way you are never waiting for a batch to be ready ;)

i'd agree with you...time is definetly the best method..
patience is a virtue seldom found blah blah ect.
I'd like to think that once i've got a few batches ready that i'll be less inclined to be rushing the steeping process...hopefully
:-)

I posted up my experience of UV steeping using a UV box a while ago:

http://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/f...cussion_57/mixology_67/16714-uv-steeping.html

Despite the reservations voiced, I still use it when i have forgotten to mix up 250ml in advance and make up 30ml or so in an emergency.

I did complete the strength tests and there was no difference in strength in any of the samples, and I haven't noticed any adverse taste or strength clues (such as craving or vaping more!) that may indicate something untoward.

Hope this is useful? :D

Thanks for that EthelKing I've just pinched the woman's nail UV light I bought her 2 years ago which was collecting dust :) it's only a 15w one though.

I bought some steamgunk custard a week ago which is now under it.
