Well yes but if you own the original bases you probably own the whole original squape, I don't think anyone would spend the money extra on an original base without knowing it will fit their clone
You would need someone with an authentic and a clone to test it out for you

It's a reasonable question ... assuming mariocuzco has a clone already, he could get a better device just by buying the authentic base, at much less cost than buying the whole thing.
I did the same upgrade with a Heron clone, I also routinely replace the o-rings with authentic on clones.

I have to say though, as far as the SQuape R goes, fay69 and TheTartanSpartan are right. I wouldn't bother bastardizing it because the cloners seem to be way off the mark.

@Dazza I doubt you'll be disappointed with a squape r but get a W deck with it and put that in first cos I doubt you'll get it out again lol

Totally agree with that. Plan is to order the W deck as soon as I know the Squape is on its way. Bit of a shame it doesn't come as standard as the S deck is more for silica whereas I always use cotton.

It is a shame that the Squape R doesn't come with the W deck as standard as I think the majority of people are using cotton these days.
I think for the price it should come with all three decks in the box.
Ive been playing around with the coppervape clone for a few days now. Its the best clone currently available with decent build quality (at least the one I have ) and gives a very good vape. Its convinced me to plump for an original if I see one come up for sale with a W deck.
I also own an authentic Rose V2 and whilst there is a learning curve with it and it is fiddly to build on its the best RTA Ive tried to date. I absolutely adore it
