Afternoon Squonkers!

Got a LostVape Drone this week, which I've been using with my Goon. All is well apart from one issue - the time it takes to squeeze liquid up into the RDA.

My Goon is authentic, but the BF pin is from Fasttech, and is maybe a mm or 2 above the deck of the RDA.
Bottle I'm using in the Drone is one of the originals that came with it.

I seem to spend more time squeezing and holding the bottle than I do actually vaping. It goes something like:
Squeeze the bottle and hold it for 10-15 seconds to push juice up
Release
Squeeze for same time again
Have 2-3 toots
Repeat the whole process again.

Anyone got any ideas?

I'm not familier with the lostvape drone but when I squonk i just squeeze the bottle and then let go... Keeping the bottle squeezed for longer will not push more liquid up into the rda.

One way to check is take the cap off the goon squeeze the bottle and you should see the liquid go up into the deck. Sometimes if you're running low on juice in the bottle it requires a couple of squeezes but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.

cheers

Thanks for the suggestions Gaz.

It's taking a 2-3 second squeeze just to see it coming up into the RDA deck.
It's almost like the hole in the BF pin isn't big enough to allow the juice through.

It sounds like something is wrong some where, it shouldnt take that much effort. I sometimes get a slight blockage from time to time, holding the mod upside while giving it a squeeze usually remedies though.

Tried giving it a squeeze upside down, but doesn't make any difference.

I'm gonna take the top plate off it when I get home tonight. Reckon the tube between the top of the bottle, and the 510 must have a twist/kink in it somewhere...

Looks like the tube between the bottle and the 510 isn't quite the right length.
Can't decide if it's too long, or too short..

That's a kinked up fooker. But it shouldn't effect anything. The key I find is when you load it up. Squeeze the juice up into the rda. Then use the bottle of juice to pour more liquid down the squonk pin of the rda as the bottle re inflates. This creates a constant link of juice between bottle and rda. So any further squeezing should instantly produce juice and then pull the excess back down. If your squonk pin is too long it can just pull back air creating a delay in the juice arriving to the rda. Get the pin flush or occasionally 're pour juice in to the pin to keep the tube full.

Good tips Eyeball, cheers!

The BF pin in my Goon is a mm or 2 too long. Sounds like that might be part of the problem if it's sucking air back down the tube.

I'd say so bud. Very easy to trim with a hacksaw or very quick with a dremmel or angle grinder. Pop a cocktail stick or match stick in the hole in the pin before trimming to prevent any warping. I prefer a long pin on some rda' s as it allows a puddle of juice but this works best with squeeze/dripbox style setups.
