Squonking

@Mutley1 I was thinking the feedlink plus the tank it comes with will be an easy way to begin squonking, weird looking coils that come with it as well, circular nothing like I have seen before, and the reason I say that squonking is advanced is because even the retailers put for advanced users only. It's paid for now and it didn't cost a fortune so I am happy, I never noticed a squonk section in the forum but then again I haven't really looked lol.

Thanks @John R much appreciated, was looking for some earlier and found 1 or 2 places at around the same price, looked at a few reviews earlier expecting them to say it's a rubbish mod so was quite surprised that the majority said it's a good mod. I like the look of it and am sure I will use it quite a bit considering it has a 7mil bottle. I haven't used a single 18650 mod so am not sure about battery life and if I have the right batteries. I only have Samsung 25R's, will they be enough to run it.

At the resistance of those coils it'd expect it to drain relatively quickly but the mod has a light show when you fire it, blue is good power (I forget the actual breakdown but it's in the manual) then it goes blue/orange as it drains down, then just orange towards the end, when the battery gets too low the orange flashes a few times then it switches off, letting you know to replace the battery.

@John R thanks for that, but I was wondering if the Samsung 25R which are 20 Amp good enough to power it or should I maybe get 25 or 30 Amp batteries.

Maybe some VTC5A's at 25A or Samsung 20S's at 30A, but I think the mod has some protections for that built in. Lemme look into it. The samsungs are hard to find at the moment I believe.

@mick brown just been trying to find out the maximum wattage of the mod and it's 80 watt, according to the fogstar amp calculator the best battery would be 30amp, what brand and amp are those you posted mick and what price.

Yeah, I can't find anything definitive so I'd err on the side of safety with as high an amp rating as you can find and exercise good mech awareness, i.e. monitor the mod for the batteries getting too hot and ensure the resistance isn't too low if you go into rebuildable atties.
