Sounds all grown up doesn't it. The novelty soon wore off though when corporation tax was mentioned. I'm still not sure what it is other than it sounds quite expensive and that companies like vodaphone don't bother paying it.

Sadly the wife is against tax evasion so we pay our dues and moan about things like pot holes and the privatisation of the NHS now.

Prescription charges got my goat lately as my 'new' (read old and shit) doctor insisted on only prescribing me painkillers in boxes of 30 which don't go far with a slipped disc.

That's all council tax funded I guess though. Couldn't tell you whose pockets corporation tax lines, it isn't ours that's for sure.
