www.buytobaccoleaf.co.uk require an application form + proof of identity sent to them before you can order.

I did find a site selling £20 ish packets, but that's saved on the PC. I'll post it up later if I remember.

Why not do it completely diy and buy baccy plant seeds, grow it yourself.

You may be able to filter with
Coffee paper filter
Low micron aquarium filter sock
Jelly bag/ jam making

On account of UK weather means likely crop failure, and plants don't grow overnight so would be next year before anything grown could be harvested.

As "raw" tobacco is actually quite cheap to buy, as it isn't subject to "health " taxation and any ordered would be sat steeping inside a week.

Reading through various pages online, coffee filter papers, aquarium filtering and stainless mesh have been suggested as methods to filter out the solids, but I reckon that part of the reason for these methods being so slow is the solids clog the filter, whereas a deal of care when decanting would leave most of the unwanted solids behind.

What you say does make sense and I completely agree, it was just a suggestion for uber diyers, however a crop can be grown in a greenhouse, and has succeeded in Huddersfield, so if its possible here it's possible anywhere.lol
A jelly bag could be a good choice, they can be used for filtering apple juice so they do work,
A guy who worked in my local b+m steeped his own, all I know is he triple filtered it, ill ask next time I in shop

You're a lot further south than me, we might have the gulf stream keeping our climate a little less warm, cold extremes but it does fuck all for the plants except give them plenty of water. I did read there's a tobacco plant variety that favours wet soil (gardeners speak calls it "heavy") but also requires it to be rich in nutrients also and clay doesn't sound like it fits the description. Lol.

A greenhouse on this estate would only last the night before its glass was broken and the remaining frame if it's metal would be stolen for scrap. Even the nearby railway has had to erect an enormous fence to keep hold of their cabling.

I'll try to remember to crank up the PC and post the url of the baccy leaf site I found this morning.

My estates the same Chegs. I cheated and bought a plastic one, then to stop it blowing away I joined it to a second, it now 14' long. Lol, oooops, thinking about it, for a single steep experiment then a full plant makes no sense at all, and the leaves would be better,
