Sticky switch

Hey planet...So I just got a new (slightly used) stingray Mech with a magnetic switch...love it but the button sticks sometimes...I'm thinking it needs a good cleaning and some lube...so can I just use anything like some wd 40 or KY jelly? Or is there a special button lube I should get...thanks

What you been doing with it, how did it get sticky

I'd say take the switch apart ( careful the magnet bit don't fly and hit you in the eye ) and give it a good clean

Wd40 might leave a bit of a residue thinking about it so maybe just a tiny bit of brasso or another product just to lift any dirt off easier

Nooo. don't say that. I've just ordered one (clone).

Query the fix for the nemesis sticky button. Where an over burr from the manufacturing process was the cause.
When the bagman drops me parcel on the floor, I'll have a looksee.

dont put wd40 or KY on any part of your mod - use isopropyl alcohol to wipe the contacts and add some contralube to the threads
