I just shake the hell out of it and chuck it in the cupboard. As far as I can tell the ol' steeping happens at a microscopic level that's all science-y and way beyond my ken. I can't see any kind of cocktail accessory speeding up that process. I think a little warmth helps. And a lot of twisty wrist action. But mostly old father Time.
I keep all my old bottles, but ones from old bottle shots and the like sometimes really retain a smell of what was in 'em, and in my experience has leached into the new juice. Banana in particular.
Yeah, I'm on that side of the fence.
