Subox nano misreading resistance

I'm new to the whole vaping thing and I reccently got a subox nano starter kit by kangertech. I also purchased the proper coils to go with it, at .5. Using snap liquids 30 nic. However, after priming/soaking them, when they are put in the tank and attached to the battery, the nano reads the resistance at .6
This results in overheating and I don't get a buzz.
Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

.5 and .6 is really not much of difference, to be expected...

What wattage are you vaping at?

Hi. In what way is it over heating? The tank gets hot after just a few hits or the mod is getting hot? No buzz? Not much vapour getting produced?
Its not uncommon for some devices to read a bit high or low. Wismec RX80's will do that, show a .65 ohm coil as .7 but works fine.

Yes, after a few hits only the tank gets hot, and that is with the snap liquid. For some reason the buzz is only produced when I put novo juice in it.

Hi mate, search reveals some of those Kanger tanks have metal tips and people complaining of it being hot after a few hits. After they swapped them over to delrin tips it was all ok. The metal tips were transferring too much heat. Not sure if your has metal or delrin of whatever else. The juice, one gives a buzz the other not is the juice, not the tank. Are they the same nic strength supposedly? Maybe one isn't, maybe one says it is but isnt. Some juices too give a better throat hit than others, some are a good throat hit, some give none. So if your tank has a metal tip, swap it for a delrin, resin or something other than metal.
Cheers getting it sorted mate.
