Subtank OCC coils problems???

Hi, I've the Subtank Nano and loving it BUT out of the pack of 1.2 ohm coils I bought X2 of them tasted horrible when used... Yes I did drop plenty of liquid onto them and always leave after filling tank for at least 15 mins. Has there been a problem with them, the taste when they're obviously dud is a horrible sort of metallic taste! Btw, love the 0.5 ohm coil but can't afford to use them as they absolutely rip through my juice!

Weird, I've never had that issue I do have to make sure no cotton inside the body of the coil is folding over the kanthal, if you know what I mean? Helped my flavour quite abit

Not sure what you mean there??

The cotton in the coil can sometimes overlap the coil on the edges, only slightly but can lead to bad taste and burning etc. Its the only fault I've ever really encountered with my occ coils.
