Yesterday, French vaping blog VaporGate ran with a story claiming Suicide Bunny e-liquid, Mother’s Milk was “still toxic”. this is a story which refuses to die, following rumours circulating last year that Suicide Bunny juices contained high amounts of diacetyl – which is believed to cause popcorn lung (bronchiolitis obliterans).

Diacetyl is a chemical used in the food industry to give a buttery or creamy flavour and it’s absolutely fine and dandy to eat, but to inhale may be another question.

interesting article. I don't think it's affecting sales here in the US. People have gotten past what ever issues they might have had with the juice.

Sounds like hype stirring to me. Pip has been rather upfront with the Acetyl Propionyl content of her products and although she charges a fortune for her stuff, in general SB seems like a decent business. In any case as the article notes there is no proven link between vaping diketones and the development of COPD, just that they have been seen to cause COPD in other environments and people expect them to have the same effect in vaping. As most of us are ex-smokers (or current) I really don't think we can be too bothered by the small levels of diketones found in e-juice.

lol damn, just when I had heard how good this juice was and I'm already considering ordering it then I see this post.......what is everyone else's thoughts?

The risk is minimal if it is there at all. So far nothing has been proven to be harmful, but it is assumed that it will be. Even if that is the case, it is nothing compared to tobacco and they are highly regarded juices. If you are worried but want to try them out, buy some and just use them on occasion.

Thanks Koeshi :)

In the article above from what I read, it says that smoking regular cigs is worse and that this e-liquid by suicide has very minute levels of it in there, so I suppose it should be fine when they put it like that. As normal cigs have so many chemicals in them, and if your smoking fake ones then that's even worse. I suppose its one of those where you make your own mind up.

I'm interested to see how everyone else feels about it.

I'm still gonna order a bottle, gotta try this. People be banging on about unicorn milk and mothers milk , need to see what the fuss is about.

Just to clarify, the chemical which they are claiming is in Suicide Bunny juices, Diacetyl, has been stated by Pip to not be there and she has the test reports to back up her claim. She has admitted to Acetone Propionyl being in there which is a similar chemical but has not been proven to have any negative health effects as of this time.

while we are on the subject.....Which site does everyone else use to order this ejuice for UK delivery? And cheapest of course :)

Personally I use VapeClub and I have been very happy with their service, orders arrive the next day. That said if you want to order King's Crown or Cloud Company juices which are also made by Pip, VapeClub only stocks them in 30ml bottles, so if you want to get a smaller bottle to test a juice out you will have to look elsewhere.

Alright cool. I've came across that site many times, can't seem to find an alternative. I've not heard of the other juices that Pip makes, ill try this first to see what it's like then take it from there.
