The SVD arrived in the post today and how lovely it is!
What I didn't realise is that you can't just pop into town and pick up a battery from the stall in the market. Pathetic it may be but at 52 years old I have never before needed a rechargeable battery of this type.
Like the man on the stall, I didn't really know what 18650 was referring to but thanks to Phil Busardo I'm now a bit wiser and have ordered an 18650 XTAR and a charger.
I have also read as much on here as I could find that might be relevant but I'm still confused about batteries.
Ignoring 18500s, I understand that the SVD will take 18650s or 18350s or even 2 18350s stacked together.
My question is what are the differences with the various configurations and which is better for what occasion?
While I'm here, I may as well ask about wattage.
I'm familiar with variable voltage from the MVP and am happy with 3.7 to 4.0 with the iClear30 depending on the juice.
Could someone kindly give me a wattage setting to start with until I get the hang of what I'm playing with.
Cheers!
